WVU Tech to host spring Discover Day

BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech) is inviting prospective students and their families to come see campus this spring.

WVU Tech’s Discover Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 28. These visits are open to prospective students and families who want to learn more about becoming a Golden Bear.

The day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., beginning in Carter Hall. They’ll take a tour of campus, meet with faculty in their area of academic interest, and have a chance to talk with admissions and financial aid staff to get their questions answered.

“We are excited to see future Golden Bears on campus this spring,” says Kent Gamble, Dean of Enrollment Services at WVU Tech. “We’re looking forward to host prospective students and their families and to answer any questions they have about life as a Golden Bear.”

In addition to seeing the campus, students will learn about what they can expect in their first year as a student, and what their next steps are in the enrollment process.
