SEOUL, March 17 (Yonhap) — SK hynix Inc. said Tuesday it will participate in the annual technology conference hosted by Nvidia Corp. in California, highlighting its leadership in memory chips for the artificial intelligence (AI) industry.

Under the theme “Spotlight on AI Memory,” the company will operate an exhibition booth at Nvidia GTC 2026, which kicked off Monday (U.S. time) for a four-day run, according to SK hynix.

The exhibition will demonstrate how SK hynix’s major products, such as the sixth-generation high bandwidth memory, or HBM4, are applied to Nvidia’s AI platforms.

SK hynix said it will also showcase memory solutions “designed to minimize data bottlenecks and maximize performance for both AI training and inference” on Nvidia’s AI platforms.

SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and SK hynix Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kwak Noh-jung also plan to meet with representatives from major companies, including Nvidia, during the event to broaden business partnerships, it added.

“As AI technology evolves, memory is transcending its role as a mere component to become a core element that determines the architecture and performance of the entire AI infrastructure,” the company said in a release.

“By applying its memory expertise across the entire AI spectrum, from data centers to on-device applications, the company aims to shape the future of AI alongside its global partners,” it added.
