VinFast reached another network milestone in the Philippines with the launch of its Caloocan showroom and service hub, developed with retail partner AutoIcon Group. The city is just 8 kilometers from the capitol, Manila, and is central to expanding towards the north of Manila where there is a concentration of EV charging stations.
The facility becomes the company’s 30th operational dealership in the country, reflecting the Vietnamese EV maker’s rapid footprint buildout and its sustained push to position electric mobility as a mainstream transport option for Filipino motorists.
The site occupies a 1,506-square-meter property in Balintawak, a location long regarded as one of Metro Manila’s most important transport gateways and a jump-off point to North Luzon. From this base, VinFast is displaying its full local battery-electric range — VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9 — while also operating a complete aftersales facility. Customers can book preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical work, and body and paint repairs, with sales and service personnel handling the ownership cycle from initial inquiry to post-delivery support.
The choice of Caloocan underscores the brand’s strategy of placing retail and service touchpoints in high-traffic corridors that connect the capital to surrounding growth areas. The area’s role as a logistics and commuter hub gives VinFast exposure not only to urban buyers but also to consumers from nearby provinces who are beginning to consider electric vehicles for daily transport.
Antonio Zara, chief executive of VinFast Southeast Asia, said the opening signals strong carry-through momentum for the company as it moves into 2026.
“The opening of VinFast Caloocan, our 30th dealership in the Philippines, signifies an important milestone as we head into 2026 with strong momentum. This expansion reflects our continued commitment to bringing sustainable mobility closer to more Filipinos and to strengthening the foundation of our nationwide network. As we grow, our focus remains clear: to help lead the clean mobility movement in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia by rewriting the rules of how electric vehicles are experienced and adopted,” Zara said.
For her part, AutoIcon Group Assistant Vice President Leah R. Avante said the collaboration is anchored on a shared objective to modernize mobility in the Philippines through technology that is both environmentally responsible and practical for long-term use. She noted that the partnership is aimed at helping introduce a new transport paradigm rather than simply adding another automotive retail outlet.
“Our partnership with VinFast Philippines goes beyond selling cars. It reflects a shared belief in reshaping how Filipinos move, through innovation that is sustainable, accessible, and built for the long term. We are honored to be part of this movement and we are elated to help VinFast realize its promise to usher in a new mobility era in the country,” Avante told the media at the dealership launch.
Beyond physical dealerships, VinFast continues to assemble what it describes as a complete EV environment for local buyers. This includes multiple vehicle choices, financing and ownership programs such as a residual value guarantee, dedicated service operations, and access to a growing charging network. The company has also begun rolling out its battery-subscription scheme in the Philippine market, a model intended to lower acquisition costs and address concerns about long-term battery ownership.
