The Automotive Communications Council (ACC), a new community of the Auto Care Association, announced nominations are open for the 2026 ACC Excellence Award (formerly the ACC Impact Award). The award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the aftermarket industry, particularly in marketing and communications. It recognizes excellence, leadership, innovation and the influence an individual can have on the industry and community.
Award criteria
Each year, ACC recognizes excellence through four distinct criteria:
- Innovative Approach: How they have introduced new ideas, strategies, or technologies to the field.
- Leadership and Mentorship: They lead by example, inspire their teams, and mentor the next generation of aftermarket communications professionals.
- Contribution to Industry Growth: They advance the aftermarket communications sector and contribute to its overall growth and success.
- Recognition by Peers: Achievements and accolades received from colleagues and industry peers.
“We are proud to recognize marketing communications professionals who exemplify the spirit of ACC, leaders whose innovation, dedication, and impact serve to elevate the entire aftermarket community,” said Leyla Saad, chair, ACC. “Their contributions create a lasting legacy that inspires us all to strive for excellence.”
ACC Leadership Council and Selection Committee
The ACC Excellence Award is administered and supported by the ACC Leadership Council. Award winners will be selected by the ACC Selection Committee and former award winners.
The winners will be revealed during the awards ceremony at the 2026 Auto Care Connect event, taking place May 11-14, 2026, in Atlanta, where nearly 1,000 aftermarket executives will be in attendance.
