Raquel Rodriguez opens up about her relationship with JD McDonagh.
Within the Judgment Day, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan have established themselves as romantic partners on WWE television. Elsewhere, WWE fans once shipped another duo within the group, namely Raquel Rodriguez and JD McDonagh.
While speaking with Branson Quirke and CJ Perry of TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Rodriguez addressed the rumors of her and McDonagh possibly being more than friends. According to the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, the two have simply built up a strong friendship.
“JD’s the best,” she said. “He’s so funny, so pretty. He has great hair. I don’t know if you’ve seen his hair recently. Beautiful hair, makes a great ponytail. Has naturally beautiful curls. Really, really great guy. And there was like a minute where the internet was kind of rumoring to me and him having a moment. If you go and you kind of Google us both, there’s lots of pictures of us laughing or like saying secrets to each other.
“Because I feel like him and I, we slowly have built up that relationship in the ring where we can just joke with each other like that. Even moments where we can make fun of each other as well. There was a part where we were in Europe one time and everyone was always chatting about how they can never see behind JD’s big head, right? It makes him, him. It works for him.”
Alongside Rodriguez, McDonagh, Morgan, and Mysterio, the likes of Roxanne Perez and Finn Balor round out the current iteration of the Judgment Day.
