Students and staff at the Williamsport-based Pennsylvania College of Technology were ordered to shelter in place Monday morning after reports of an active shooter, but the order was lifted about 20 minutes later when it was discovered the campus was the latest victim of a “swatting” incident.
Campus officials say the college received a call at around 8:40 a.m. reporting an active shooter in the Keystone Dining Hall. The college sent out a “shelter in place” order.
