Trans India Rail, which has operated the Cinderella Hotel for over 25 years, has announced plans for a Freight Photo Charter later this year.
After extensive lobbying with railway authorities, the company has curated a unique package for rail enthusiasts to enjoy, combining photography with an evening steam dining train and workshop tours.
Scheduled for between 24th and 30th May 2026, the tour costs £1,600 per person and includes hotel accommodation in Siliguri, Kurseong, and Darjeeling, daily breakfast, all transfers, and sightseeing.
Highlights include narrow-gauge railway photography, exclusive dining train experiences, and professional photography assistance.
Guests are met by both English and Indian guides at Bagdogra Airport, with the possibility of meeting an English guide in Delhi.
